Hi, my name is [YOUR NAME]. I am a Realtor here in [YOUR CITY].

Buying a home is exciting, and most people are very quick to respond when a counter offer comes in.

Let me share with you one of my most effective strategies.

I call it, letting things marinate.

The idea is simple.

When a counter offer comes in, don’t respond right away.

Giving a little pause will allow you to make a clear decision, and it will also keep the other party wondering what is happening.

Anticipation is a great tool we can use to negotiate the best price and terms possible.

By letting the deal marinate for a day or two, most people will become much more reasonable in their response.

I will of course check with the agent to make sure nothing odd is happening in the background, like other offers coming in.

And of course, if you want to answer right away, no problem either. This is just some helpful food for thought.

Ok, that’s it for now!
